THERE ARE OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL AGES TO SING PRAISES TO THE LORD.
EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO BE A PART OF THE MUSIC MINISTRY AT FPC NORMAN.
The Chancel Choir is open to adults and they sing at the 10:30 AM service. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings from 7:00-8:30 PM in the choir room. Email Dr. Thomas Dickey, the Director of Music & Organist at FPC Norman, for more information and to set up an appointment.
King’s Company Choir is for all our children through 2nd graders. They meet in Room 211 upstairs as part of the Sunday School activities, singing fun Bible songs with loving, cheerful teachers.
Gabe’s Gang Choir is for 3rd through 5th graders. They meet on Wednesdays from 3:15-5:45 p.m. During this time they play games, have Bible study, and choir practice. They sing once a month during the 11:00 a.m. worship service.
Youth Choir is for 6th through 12th graders. They rehearse on Sunday mornings downstairs in the Youth Family Room from 10:10-10:55 a.m. They enjoy helping lead worship regularly.
FPC Ringers make music fun! All ages are welcome to join our family of bell ringers on Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
The Organ at FPC Norman - For over five decades, First Presbyterian Church’s organ has been recognized as one of Oklahoma’s finest church and concert organs. Completed in 1966, the Aeolian-Skinner pipe organ consists of 44 ranks and 2,238 handcrafted pipes and was a gift from University of Oklahoma voice professor, Joseph Benton.
