Goodland

In the spring of 2006, summer of 2008, and most recently during spring break of 2009, the youth of our congregation have visited Goodland Academy, formerly Goodland Boys' Home just outside of Hugo, Oklahoma.  While at Goodland, our youth and their adult sponsors have accomplished such varied tasks as scraping and painting a century old chapel to  demolishing a wall making more room for Goodland's Boy Scout troop to taping and painting an entire four room cottage.  In addition to the manual labor done, our youth and their sponsors also develop relationships with the boys who call Goodland home.  All of our efforts are made in Christ's name.  We hope to return in 2010.  To learn more about Goodland you can visit www.goodland.org.
