What does Jesus Mean to You?
This study is based on interpretations of Jesus provided by two friends, Marcus Borg and N. T. Wright, who both affirm Jesus is Lord, but have differing perspectives on the Jesus of history and his on-going lordship. The purpose of this study, also led by two friends, Dr. Phil Fenn and Roy Bendure, is to clarify two contemporary and important views of Jesus, and to provide the conceptual material for enhancing one’s own faith commitment to the Christ. Text: The Meaning of Jesus, Two Visions co-written by Marcus Borg and N.T. Wright.

Uppity Women of the Bible
Combining careful scholarship with humor and fresh insights, Dr. Wolfe’s DVD series will enlighten our discussions of four women in the Hebrew Scriptures: Ruth, Song of Songs, Esther and Judith. Though this class assumes its participants will be women, all are welcome. This class is facilitated by Rev. Pam Normile.

The Historical Jesus
Join us for an exploration of the historical Jesus as we discuss who this figure is by using “The Historical Figure of Jesus” by E. P. Sanders, the classic text in Historical Jesus studies. The study will be organized around a presentation format with Q & A involved, handouts and discussion, and will be facilitated by Sally Riley and Dr. Barbara S. Boyd.
